Chrysler is Recalling It's 2017 Ram 1500 For Possible Broken Fuel Tank Valve

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2017 Ram 1500 trucks. The fuel tanks in the affected vehicles may have a broken fuel tank control valve which might leak fuel if the vehicle were to become inverted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 301, "Fuel System Integrity."
Remedy
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel tanks, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin August 21, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T45.
