Chrysler is recalling its 2017 Jeep Wrangler vehicles for Jeeps that have a cracked or broken control valve causing a fuel leak.

SUMMARY:
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2017 Jeep Wrangler vehicles manufactured November 1, 2016, to November 3, 2016. The affected vehicles may have a fuel tank that has a cracked or broken control valve, possibly resulting in a fuel leak in a rollover event, debris in the fuel tank and/or the potential of over fueling the vehicle.

CONSEQUENCE:
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

REMEDY:
Chrysler will notify owners, and Jeep dealers will inspect the fuel tank and replace fuel tank and sending unit, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 2, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is S90.

Nissan is recalling certain 2016 Titian Diesel trucks for a fuel gauge that reads incorrectly.

SUMMARY:
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2016 Titan Diesel XD vehicles manufactured August 7, 2015, to September 1, 2016. The affected vehicles may not have had the temporary fuel tank breather tube cap removed during the vehicle's assembly and the fuel tank breather tube may not have been connected to the bed rail. As a result, the fuel tank may not have the proper ventilation, possibly causing the fuel gauge and the distance to empty meter to both display inaccurately.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the fuel gauge reads incorrectly, the vehicle can run out of fuel without the driver being aware, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel tank breather tube, replacing the fuel tank, fuel sending unit, and/or fuel tank breather tube, as necessary, free of charge. General Motors is recalling its 2016 Buick Cascada vehicles for windows that close on their own.

SUMMARY:
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2016 Buick Cascada vehicles manufactured December 1, 2015, to February 24, 2016. The affected vehicles may have had the original convertible roof control module (CRCM) replaced with an incorrect CRCM, that allows the windows to close automatically when the roof is closed and can allow the windows to be closed remotely from distances beyond 11 meters using the key fob. As such, these vehicles no longer meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 118, "Power-Operated Window Systems."
CONSEQUENCE:
If the windows close automatically or can be closed remotely in ways that do not meet all the requirements of FMVSS 118, the unexpected closure can increase the risk of injury to the passengers.
REMEDY:
GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the CRCM with correct module, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 9, 2016. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300. GM's number for this recall is 16126.

Bentley is recalling its 2017 Bentayga vehicles for a seat mechanism that can loosen.

SUMMARY:
Bentley Motors, Inc. (Bentley) is recalling certain model year 2017 Bentayga vehicles manufactured March 1, 2016, to September 30, 2016. During the assembly process, the affected vehicles may not have had the seat mechanism and instrument panel joints properly tightened.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the seat mechanism and instrument panel joints were not tightened, they can loosen, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
REMEDY:
Bentley will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and tighten the seat mechanism and instrument panel joints, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in November 2016. Kia is recalling its Kia Sportage vehicles for a Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit may Short and cause a fire.

SUMMARY:
Kia Motors America (Kia) is recalling certain model year 2008-2009 Kia Sportage vehicles manufactured August 9, 2007, to May 13, 2009. The wire harness cover on the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU) may be improperly sealed allowing water to get onto the HECU circuit board. If the water is contaminated with salt, such as could occur from melted snow, the wire harness connector pins may corrode and the circuit board may short circuit.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the HECU short circuits, there is an increased risk of an engine compartment fire.
REMEDY:
Kia will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the connector pins for corrosion, if no corrosion is found, the connector cover will be replaced. If corrosion is present, the dealer will replace the HECU assembly and the connector cover, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin November 28, 2016. Toyota is recalling its Toyota Sienna Mini Vans for a problem with the sliding door.

SUMMARY:Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2011-2016 Toyota Sienna minivans manufactured January 4, 2010, to August 12, 2016. If the power sliding door is unable to be opened when commanded, such as if the door is frozen shut, the door may subsequently open unexpectedly, possibly while the vehicle is moving.

CONSEQUENCE:If door opens while the vehicle is moving, there would be an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants.

Mercedes is recalling several of its vehicles for a seat belt that may break in the event of a crash.

SUMMARY:Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 S63 AMG Coupe, S65 AMG Coupe, S550 Coupe 4Matic, S63 AMG 4Matic Convertible, and S550 Convertible vehicles manufactured June 29, 2015, to March 15, 2016. The seat belt extenders on the affected vehicles may not retract as intended and may potentially break the event of a crash.

CONSEQUENCE:In the event of a crash, if the seat belt extender does not retract and/or the extender breaks, the seat occupant may not be properly restrained, increasing their risk of injury.

Fiat releases a bulletin regarding problems with certain 2017 RAM 1500 pickups for a Hemi Badge that was misapplied.

Some RAM 1500 special edition pickups have a 3.6 liter V-6 that does not match the Hemi Badge  that is affixed to the truck.  The solution that FCA has come up with is that the emblem will need to be removed.   This emblem may have mislead unknowing customers into purchasing a vehicle they thought had a Hemi engine in it.

Jaguar is recalling certain model year 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR vehicles due to a rear lower control arm that may knuckle and the assembly may fail prematurely.

SUMMARY:Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR vehicles built between February 19, 2016 and August 15, 2016. Due to assembly corrections during manufacturing, the bolts connecting the rear lower control arms to the knuckle assembly may fail prematurely.
CONSEQUENCE:If the lower control arm bolt connecting bolt fails, the rear control arm assembly may separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the bolt that connects the rear lower control arm to the rear knuckle joint, free of charge. Subaru is recalling its 2017 Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback vehicle for problems with the seatbelt.

SUMMARY:Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain model year 2017 Legacy and Outback vehicles manufactured September 21, 2016, to September 23, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the knee guard bracket may not be properly attached to the steering beam assembly.
CONSEQUENCE:If the knee guard is not properly attached and the driver is not wearing a seatbelt, the knee guard may not be able to properly restrain the driver's lower body in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
REMEDY:Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the knee guard welding on each vehicle's steering beam, replacing the beam as necessary, free of charge. Hyundai Motor America is Recalling its Genesis Coupe vehicle for air bag problems.

SUMMARY:
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2010-2016 Genesis Coupe vehicles manufactured December 12, 2008, to June 11, 2016. The electrical harness connector for the front passenger seat Occupant Classification System (OCS) may dislodge when the seat is moved.

CONSEQUENCE:
In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger frontal air bag, the disconnected OCS would, by default, cause the first stage, and only the first stage, of the air bag to deploy, whether there is a child seat in the front seat and the bag should not deploy or if the crash is severe and both stages should deploy. Either scenario increases the risk of injury to the front seat occupant.

REMEDY:
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will secure the OCS connector to prevent it from disconnecting, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 2, 2016. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 151.

Honda is recalling its 2016 Honda Civic Vehicles for an Electronic Parking Brake that may not engage.

SUMMARY:
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year 2016 Honda Civic two door and four door 1.5L turbo and 2.0L vehicles. The electric parking brake (EPB) may not engage if it is applied immediately after turning the ignition off.
CONSEQUENCE:If the EPB is not applied, the vehicle may roll away, increasing the risk of a crash.

GM recall 4.3 Million Vehicles over a defect Related to Air Bags.

General Motors reported that it will recall nearly 4.3 million vehicles worldwide because of a software defect that can prevent air bags from deploying during a crash.

It ranges from the 2014 - 2017 model year of the Buick Lacrosse, Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado  1500, Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and Silverado HD and Cadillac Escalade.

Mitsubishi is recalling its 2015 Outlander vehicles because Fluid may Leak from Transmission Hose

SUMMARY:
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain model year 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport vehicles manufactured June 25, 2014, through November 25, 2015 and equipped with a 2.0L engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). During assembly, a clamp for a CVT hose may not have been properly secured, allowing the hose to detach and leak transmission fluid.
CONSEQUENCE:
If enough transmission fluid leaks out, the transmission may not function properly and the vehicle may become inoperable, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, if leaking transmission fluid contacts an a hot surface there is an increased risk of a fire.
REMEDY:
Mitsubishi will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the hose clamps, correcting their installation, as necessary, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Honda is recalling its 2016 Honda Civic for a Connecting Rod Bearing Retainer may Fail

American Honda Motor Co. (Honda) is recalling certain model year 2016 Civic 2-Door vehicles manufactured February 23, 2016, through May 20, 2016. The affected vehicles may have a damaged LED side marker light circuit board inside the taillight assembly, making the marker light inoperable. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Assoc. Equipment."
CONSEQUENCE:
If a side marker light does not function, vehicle visibility can be decreased to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

GM is recalling its Malibu Hybrid Vehicles for an Unexpected Loss of High Voltage Power.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2016 Malibu Hybrid vehicles manufactured October 27, 2015, to June 3, 2016. The affected vehicles have a shut-off switch for the high voltage battery for use when servicing the vehicle. This manual service disconnect switch (MSD) may not be properly installed and thus may not lock into position, unexpectedly disconnecting the high-voltage power while driving, effectively stalling the vehicle.
CONSEQUENCE:
A vehicle stall increases the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:

Chrysler is recalling its Ram Trucks for a Rear Output Shaft Fracture that can cause a Possible Loss of Power.

SUMMARY:
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2016 Ram 3500 trucks manufactured July 24, 2015, through January 7, 2016, and 2016 Ram 4500/5500 trucks manufactured July 24, 2015, through October 8, 2015. The transfer case may have been manufactured with a misshapen main output shaft, creating voids that may cause a shaft fracture.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the main output shaft fractures, the vehicle may lose motive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, the driver may be unable to place the vehicle in PARK, increasing the risk of a vehicle rollaway.
REMEDY:
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the transfer case, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on August 10, 2016. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is S48.
